We don’t want an environmental policy that sits politely on a piece of paper. We want to build sustainability into the fabric of Fluid. We want to get our hands dirty. Hold each other accountable. And one day we want to earn the right to call ourselves a sustainability leader amongst the UK’s leading independent agencies. Not yet. But not long.
Above all, we want to make a difference. Even if it’s small. And we’re planning to do that through a focus on six sustainability pillars that will be reviewed at least once a year.
Planet
Through Tree Nation, we plant 20 trees to mark the beginning of a new client partnership. And we plant even more trees to celebrate anniversaries.
Profit
We’re donating a proportion of our annual profits to support critical environmental causes every year. Money doesn't matter when the world's on fire.
Partners
We’ve partnered with suppliers that provide environmentally responsible print and production options to our clients. And we champion those like our lives depend on it.
Place
We reduce and recycle. We'll buy energy from renewable, community owned schemes. Even our studio is repurposed, and part of a world heritage site that pioneered water power.
People
We all share accountability for improving our six pillars. And each year we'll volunteer our time to support charity partners like Derby County Community Trust.
Proof
We’re honest with our intentions. And we know we’ve got a long way to go. So we report against the impact of our six pillars every year around Christmas.
We want to roll up our sleeves and do more.
Fluid's always done a lot for our community and for various charitable causes... that sense of responsibility is very genuine and very ingrained. But we all want to roll-up our sleeves and do more, which is why we'll be channelling our efforts through the six pillars of our sustainability plan.
