Every month, the team is invited to nominate a client impact champion (someone who has delighted a client in true Fluid style) and a culture champion (a team member who lives by our values to help make Fluid the special place it is).

And every month, we celebrate and reward two individuals who have made a difference in those areas.

So without further ado, let’s make them blush…

Martin, a front-end Drupal developer in our Websites & Systems team, was crowned our client impact champion for January, for being an all-round team player – from stepping up and outside his comfort zone when a portion of the Websites & Systems team were struck down by a winter bug, to support in a project management capacity. And for supporting other team members in their own quests – like collaborating with George to make our clients’ websites SEO friendly. But the icing on the cake was Martin’s efforts in launching the new Untold Living website…

Georgia said:  "In the words of Isla, Martin has 'slayed' on the new Untold Living website and 'ate and left no crumbs'. Not only has he produced a cracking website, bang on the design, with great functionality, he has proactively upgraded our white label codebase so any future project will be even better and faster to produce. We're really lucky to have someone so forward-thinking in the team."

Gemma also gets a big shout-out this month. As part of our Performance & Innovation team, Gemma is our resident CRO and email marketing expert. And her nominations have centred around her positive and caring attitude that not only makes her a great person to work with, but also brings a wealth of benefits to our client projects too. Ellie and Michelle had some lovely anecdotes to share...

Ellie said: "Gemma is such a friendly, supportive teammate, and she’s always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone out. She’s helped me with many things, including a recent Looker report. She jumped in and worked through it with me, turning what could’ve been a stressful task into a team effort. I really appreciated her positivity and how easy she is to work with.”

Michelle said: "Gemma and I have crossed paths on a few website projects recently, in terms of CRO and general UX and accessibility improvements, and I really enjoy collaborating with her. We come to the project with different ideas from our specialisms and work together to deliver the best overall suggestions for the client. A recent project for Barchester to redesign their care home page is a great example of this."
